| Montauk Directions to the charter boat Daybreaker, docked at the Westlake Fishing Lodge (516 668-5600) From Westchester, Northern New Jersey or Upstate New York Take George Washington Bridge to Cross Bronx Expressway to the Throgs Neck or Whitestone Bridges. From either bridge, head for the Cross Island Parkway and take it to the Long Island Expressway, and follow directions from LIE below From Staten Island, Brooklyn or Southern New Jersey Take Verrazano Bridge to Belt Parkway East to the Southern State Parkway to Sunrise Highway to 27 East and follow directions 27 East below. From NYC Take the Midtown tunnel to the LIE east, and follow directions from LIE below. From LIE Exit at exit 70 Manorville, make right at Mobile Station, go straight until you see signs for 27 East. Take 27 East, to County Road 77 and follow direction from 27 East below. From 27 East 27 East becomes Main Street through the Hamptons, it continues through the 6-block village of Montauk. When 27 East reaches County Road 77 (the next big intersection after the village) you make a left onto Westlake Drive. You will see signs for Montauk Harbor, before you make the left onto Westlake Drive, (or by the name it is also known as County Road 77). Go 1.7 miles and Westlake Fishing Lodge is on your right (you will see boats, as you approach Westlake Fishing Lodge), and park. The Daybreaker is docked directly behind the restaurant, which opens most of the year at dawn for breakfast. Islamorada Directions to the charter boat Daylight, docked at World Wide Sportsman Marina, mile marker 80.5, Islamorada From Points North Take the Florida Turnpike South to US I, follow US 1 to mile marker 80.5, World Wide Sportsman is located on the bayside (right hand side). |
